Ten years after her death (April 7, 2016), the Amici della Musica di Padova and Il Circolo Culturale Bellunese, together with Erich Hoeprich and the London Haydn Quartet, dedicate this concert to the memory of our dear Liesbeth, whose passionate and intelligent efforts since the 1980s have brought the knowledge and presence in Italy of leading Dutch artists, both in the field of early music and modern and contemporary music. We are talking about Gustav Leonhardt, Frans Brüggen, Anner Bylsma, Bob van Asperen, the Orchestra of the Eighteen Century, but also the Esterházy Quartet (with Jaap Schroeder), Elly Ameling, Reinbert De Leeuw with the Schönberg Ensemble, the Rondom Quartet (with Vera Beths) and many, many other artists that the Padua public was among the first in Italy to appreciate.
