The countdown is on: two years before the grand anniversary of the opera house on Gänsemarkt, which will celebrate its 350th anniversary in 2028, Hamburger Ratsmusik is searching for clues as to what atmosphere and conditions in the Hanseatic city and what initiatives among its citizens and music lovers made the first bourgeois opera house possible.
