Festes Baroques - Programme 2025
Music / Creation / Wines / Heritage
Bordeaux - Cadaujac - Martillac - Saint Michel de Rieufret - Saint Selve
25 June to 4 July

Now in its 22nd year, the 2025 programme of Festes Baroques faithfully supports soloists and ensembles working in the field of early music, helping them to develop their professional careers, particularly in conjunction with the REMA European network.
As a testament to the vitality and modernity of these artists, audiences will be treated to a range of performances with cross-disciplinary aesthetics, like so many moments of fantasy and creative irregularity inspired by the very etymology of the word baroque: barroco = pearl of unexpected form... it couldn't be better!
Fine arts and baroque sound invention in association with EBABX, or the creation of a marvellous and musical mythology around the Queen of Sheba, but also certain stage or space productions, among others, are renewing the approach to the baroque universe.
Meetings and round-table discussions with free admission, public rehearsals with commentary for schoolchildren and other audiences, and listening workshops are just some of the features of this rich and varied programme.
The discovery of the wine châteaux and the tastings offered after the shows pay tribute to the local heritage and its universally recognised identity as a terroir, and make for some very convivial moments. Music is a sesame for all, to be enjoyed without moderation!
