We explore the extraordinary musical legacy of one of the most fascinating genealogies of Western music: the Bach family. The program traces one of the most dynamic seasons of European music: the transition from Baroque to early Classicism, with pieces by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, which anticipates the sensitive style, and the London Symphony by the younger Johann Christian Bach, a model for the young Mozart. In the center stands Johann Sebastian with his Suite for Orchestra No. 1, a perfect synthesis of national styles, while the Symphony of the tormented Wilhelm Friedemann and the lively Concerto of Georg Philipp Telemann complete the picture of an era of profound transformations. The Ensemble Crescere in Musica Baroque, under the direction of Sergio Gasparella on harpsichord, stands out for a philological approach that unites professional musicians with very young performers, testifying to a path of high education, passion and research.
