Euskal Barrok Ensemble / Subh

Let yourself be transported to the nearby but exotic world of 10th-century Córdoba. In that mediaeval metropolis there lived a Christian slave named Subh. Subh was kidnapped and raped, but she eventually rose to become queen. Was her love of her city greater than her love for the caliph, her husband? Guitarist Enrike Solinis and his Euskal Barrok Ensemble enchant and entice us with the sounds of mediaeval Spain and its melting pot of languages, cultures and religions.
