The European Union Baroque Orchestra opens its 2026 season on Europe Day with concerts on 09 May in Darmstadt and 10th May in Schwetzingen, dedicated to Jean-Philippe Rameau. The programme features suites from Castor et Pollux and Pygmalion, illustrating Rameau’s innovative orchestral language and Enlightenment ideals. Under the guidance of Christophe Rousset, young talents explore the expressive richness and dramatic clarity of French Baroque repertoire, offering audiences a refined journey from tradition to modernity in 18th-century music.
