ESPURNES BARROQUES 2026
From 09 May to 07 June Spain / Riner and other municipalities
The 9th edition of Espurnes Barroques Festival will take place between May 9 and June 7, with a program inspired by the world of dreams, around which 25 proposals to be presented will revolve. The festival will unfold across around thirty municipalities in Central Catalonia, transforming unique spaces into stages for a cultural experience that combines Baroque music, heritage, gastronomy, and landscape.
Under the motto "In somnium" (which in latin means “toward the dream”), the festival invites audiences to open their gaze to the dreamlike, with a program that includes around fifteen concerts —with more in-house productions than ever—, five workshops, three meals among the vineyards, stargazing, performing arts and visual arts proposals, three commissions to three composers, modern premieres of recovered heritage works… and around seventy social and educational activities carried out by the same performers who appear in the festival.
