Katarina Livljanić, artistic director of the Ensemble Dialogos, is one of the winners of the prestigious Villa Albertine's residency competition, selected among hundreds of artists, designers, scholars and cultural professionals in residence in 30 American cities. The Villa Albertine is an establishment of the French Embassy and the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs in the United States, supported by the French Ministry of Culture and the Institut français.
Thanks to this Franco-American collaboration, Katarina Livljanić will be the resident of the Villa Albertine in New York City in February 2026, to conduct her research and create a new concert programme of the Ensemble Dialogos, based on the New York years of Yvette Guilbert, the Belle Epoque French singer, storyteller, actress and writer, who performed medieval music along with the café-concert repertoire.
