El Gran Teatro del Mundo presents the world premiere of "The Nightless Empire" at the Stockholm Early Music Festival 2025

This program for violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord is a brand-new production focused on a virtually unexplored niche of musical heritage: 17th-century Spanish instrumental repertoire. A true double revival—not only does it bring to light unpublished madrigals and works by composers from the Madrid court, but it also reimagines them through historically informed improvisations, based on period sources.
