Brussels to Majorca

This summer, as they celebrate their 30th anniversary, Les Muffatti are crossing a new frontier: heading to Pollença, on the island of Mallorca, for their very first performance in Spain! 

They have the honour of performing at the prestigious Pollença Festival, which has established itself as an unmissable Mediterranean’s unmissable summer event and celebrate its 65th edition
. 

For this Spanish premiere, Les Muffatti present Bach³, their latest album released in March 2024. Three instruments, three emblematic works, three exceptional soloists: Sophie Gent on violin, Frank Theuns on traverso, and exceptionally Violaine Cochard on harpsichord. Rather than following the current fashion for "one-to-a-part" interpretations, they have chosen fuller tutti textures, creating a vibrant dialogue between soloists and orchestra. A sonic tapestry in which colours respond to one another, and collective energy amplifies individual virtuosity.
