First Baroque International Singing Academy
As part of its major educational projects, LA CHAMBRE is organizing its first music academy for future professionals in 2026: opera singers and vocal coaches (harpsichordists) at the beginning of their professional careers, currently studying, or already holding a degree.

Number of participants : 7 singers + 1 or 2 accompanists
Date s: July 4-7, 2026 (arrival July 3/departure July 8 before noon)
REGISTRATION: until May 1, 2026
Teachers' concert: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 9:00 PM
Academy participants' concert: Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 9:00 PM
Full board and accommodation in the sanctuary
The 4-day Baroque singing academy at the Sanctuary of Laghet (Alpes-Maritimes) offers : 4 hours of private lessons focusing on vocal technique, interpretation, and ornamentation coaching;
4 hours of in-depth work interpreting selected arias with harpsichord accompaniment ;
20 hours of group time and listening ;
Particular emphasis will be placed on declamation, rhetoric, and pronunciation in French, English, and Italian, as well as stage presence in the air;
The program for this musical retreat includes intensive daily work with individual vocal lessons and rehearsals with a vocal coach, as well as group sessions in the afternoon. The academy participants will perform at the academy's opening concert on July 7th at 8:00 PM in the chapel of the Sanctuary of Laghet, with harpsichord accompaniment.
Tuition Fees
> €960 (OPERAOFF professional training funding)
> €895 (self-funded)
PLEASE NOTE: Prices include:
1. Tuition fees
2. Accommodation in a single room (private shower and toilet) except for self-funded participants (shower outside the room)
3. Full board (3 meals) at the sanctuary
4. Membership and registration fee of €17, payable by clicking here
If accommodation is outside the sanctuary, a one-time tuition fee of €700 applies.
