Light and dark! Just as in Caravaggio's paintings, contrasts were at the center of early Italian Baroque music. Beauty and perfection were no longer a goal, but only part of man's perfect kaleidoscope of feelings and thoughts to be brought to life. On Wednesday 25 March, the Norwegian Baroque Ensemble — together with the star soprano Roberta Mameli — explore the drama of the Italian Baroque with the concert Chiaroscuro.
