In this eclectic program, soprano Mariana Flores pays tribute to the women of Latin America and depicts their loves, sorrows, and joys through music with popular songs from Argentina. Accompanied by Quito Gato (piano and guitar), who arranged the music, and Romain Lecuyer (double bass), this recital is an opportunity for the audience to discover some of the most beautiful folk songs from their country of origin dating from the 20th century, such as Dorotea la cautiva and Alfonsina y el mar from Ariel Ramírez's collection Mujeres Argentinas.
