CORO and I Fagiolini are awarded German Record Critics Award and nominated for a REMA Award
I Fagiolini has been awarded a prestigious Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik (German Record Critics Award) for its CORO recording of John Wilbye: Draw on Sweet Night, the first recording dedicated solely to the composer since the 1980s.

Selected from a longlist of 12 recordings in the Early Music category for Quarter 3 of 2022, John Wilbye: Draw on Sweet Night presents 25 rarely heard but classic English miniatures from the time of Shakespeare, with intricate and subtle performances from I Fagiolini.

Since the album’s release earlier this year, John Wilbye: Draw on Sweet Night has received acclaim from both critics and audiences alike. This Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik is the first award attributed to the album.
