Created and directed by the Australian Romantic & Chamber Orchestra, the Young Mannheim Symphonists youth orchestra program is a unique and exciting program designed to give secondary and tertiary students and emerging musicians the opportunity to discover for themselves the magic of approaching music with historically informed performance style.
At the Young Mannheim Symphonists 2024 National Academy, successful applicants spend five days participating in workshops, tutorials and orchestral rehearsals. The Academy culminates in a public concert in which the Young Mannheim Symphonists perform the repertoire they have prepared throughout the week.
