Giovanni Michelini (fortepiano)
Born in Modena in 1997, Giovanni Michelini studied organ, harpsichord, historical performance practice, music theory and aural training in Padua, Bologna, Munich and Salzburg. His programme is dedicated to the fundamental role that music for keyboard instruments plays in the production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The variety of different works is intended to emphasise how Mozart dealt with the different genres of his time. His personal view is illuminated by examining the compositional, formal and historical performance practice aspects of these works.
