Theresia Orchestra performs Rossini’s "L’inganno infelice"

Following last year's success, Theresia makes its anticipated return to the Reate Festival this month to perform the belcanto opera: L'inganno felice - one of Rossini’s early works and third opera he wrote in 1812. Alessandro Demarchi will conduct Theresia and a cast of emerging singers in a new edition of this opera ‘farsa’ by Luca Incerti. A highly exciting venture to approach Rossini's music on period instruments with performances in Rieti and Rome. Meanwhile, Theresia Orchestra's opera production of Cimarosa's Le astuzie femminili from last year at the Reate Festival is now available on DVD through Dynamic.
