Summerschool Laus Polyphoniae 2023
From 21 August 2023 to 27 August 2023/ Belgium / Antwerp
In the annual Summerschool of Laus Polyphoniae, organized by Musica Impulse Centre, AMUZ and Cappella Pratensis, a group of singers will study ancient scores. For this year's festival theme, Antwerp Townscape/Soundscape’, an array of motets, mass parts and other compositions that resounded in Antwerp churches in the 16th century or were printed on the presses of Plantin or Phalesius have been selected. The result of the intense week of singing from original sources can be heard during the presentation at AMUZ. The masterclass is intended for professional, pre-professional singers and advanced amateurs. Deadline for registration is 23 June 2023. The number of places is limited.
