Summer Festivities of Early Music is the only festival focussing on historical performing arts organised in Prague. Since its establishment in 2000 it has become acknowledged for its carefully prepared, thematic programming and for the high level of performance guaranteed by some of the foremost specialists from countries around the world. The 24th edition of the international music festival will be dedicated to the nine daughters of the supreme Greek god Zeus, the Muses – noble, beautiful and omniscient goddesses of the performing arts who lived with the gods on Olympus.
