Giovanni Bononcini, originally from Modena, embarked on an artistic journey that took him to Bologna, Milan, Rome, London and Vienna, establishing himself as one of the greatest composers of the Baroque. The Arcadia Academy, with three voices and a rich instrumental ensemble, pays tribute to this illustrious musician by performing a Youth Symphony (n.12 op. IV) and the serenata "Amore non vuol diffidenza". The concert, hosted in the halls of the Palace which preserves numerous manuscripts by the composer, retraces the ascent of Bononcini, a formidable arc in the firmament of the protagonists of European music.
