RECORDER REVOLUTION!

Palisander are passionate ambassadors for their instrument, and this concert programme is a celebration of all things recorder! The quartet will use a myriad of recorders of all shapes and sizes, to guide the audience through the instruments evolution, with music spanning a millennium. 

Combining authentic historical practice with sensitive contemporary interpretations, this programme presents a cross-section of the ensemble’s varied repertoire:  including traditional music from the British Isles, Renaissance diminutions, ancient medeterranian dances and contemporary surprises, rooted in history.
