MUSIC FROM HERE AND ELSEWHERE: FESTIVAL EMBAR(O)CALEMENT IMMEDIAT, VALENCIENNES

In the nice city of Valenciennes and surrounding rural villages, 16 concerts in 4 week-ends, exhibitions, musicological meetings, visits, activities like singing and dance...are aimed for a varied audience, in a friendly atmosphere. Emerging artists and renowned ensembles such as Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien, Les Surprises, Les Basses Réunies… will meet there. Note a creation around "Jephte" from Carissimi by Harmonia Sacra ensemble - the organizer of the festival -  to celebrate their 20th Anniversary on the final day of Embar(o)quement immediat festival.
