Mozart, very young, travels to Italy between 1769 and 1773. Influenced by Luigi Boccherini and the Milanese environment, Mozart completed the six K 155-160 Quartets between 1772 and 1773. These fresh and energetic masterpieces show the composer’s evolution towards a new formal elegance, combining elements of popular music and Italian opera with influences from Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. The concert 0-12 aimed at children proposes a reduction-adaptation of the program.
