Miercurea Ciuc Early Music Festival – An exciting journey through time to the golden age of Transylvania

The Mikó Castle, the emblematic castle of Miercurea Ciuc, one of the main venues of the Miercurea Ciuc Early Music Festival, was built 400 years ago. This round anniversary is the backbone of this year's festival program, with concerts that evoke the music of the 16th and 17th centuries, one of the most significant periods in Transylvanian music history.
During the 9 days of the Miercurea Ciuc Early Music Festival, 15 concerts will take place, as well as book presentations, scientific lectures, children's activities, guided tours, and wine tasting.
