Improvisation became an intense concern within the Early music world for many years. While the historical relevance of improvisation seems obvious, musicians and teachers are seeking to update and develop their practices. How can improvisation appear in our musical practices? What teaching methods do we offer? How can we encourage people to become involved in this long-term process?
