Church music by Vivaldi

Coro e orchestra Ghislieri is now a resounding name in Dutch musical life, especially when it comes to Italian baroque music. Tonight, the musicians devote themselves to the church music of the composing 'red priest' from Venice, Antonio Vivaldi. This part of his impressive oeuvre has long been one of the best-kept secrets in music history. Here, five rediscovered scores from the National Library in Turin are brought to life by the ensemble.
