Johannes-Passion organised by the students of Brussels Conservatoire Early music Department
27 March 2024/ Belgium / Brussels
We are delighted to welcome you at the Église Notre-Dame au Sablon (Rue du Sablon, 1000 Brussels) for our production of J.S. Bach’s “Johannes-Passion”, taking place on the 27th of March at 8PM.
The performance is organised by the KOMOREBI CONSORT, a new group of young professionals and students in early music, brought together by the Brussels-based harpsichordist Tetsuhiro Isaji.
We will also have the pleasure of welcoming to our continuo section a very special new German harpsichord by the young Belgian builder Bas Neelen, who completed this instrument as part of his Master’s project during his time at KASK (Ghent).

Our project is supported by the conservatoires of Brussels and Ghent, as well as the Église Notre-Dame au Sablon and its titular organists, including Benoît Mernier. We are also grateful to Sigiswald Kuijken for his mentorship and encouragement.
