The concert offers a musical journey through the original transcriptions of Michele Barchi’s Suites III and V by Johann Sebastian Bach for cello. Alongside these, the programme includes Francesco Geminiani’s Sonata n. 2 op. 5 in RE minor, and Francesco Geminiani’s Sonata in SOL major n. 4 op. 2 by Piero Antonio Locatelli and the Sonata in SOL major n. 2 op. 1 by Martin Berteau, offering a varied panorama of the baroque repertoire for cello and continuo.
