The Festival Combin en Musique hosts 'Il violino fantastico', a production of Pietà de' Turchini Foundation starring Margherita Pupulin and Juan Josè Francione. This program is the result of research and experimentation aimed at reviving the violin’s peculiar power ‘to awaken the secret human affections’ as it was experienced in the 17th century.
Invented, tested and perfected in less than a half century, the violin’s language has amazed generations of intellectuals and audiences of the time, with its theatre beyond words, capable of imitating situations and emotions in such a way that they felt ‘more real than the real ones’.
