Mozart's Horns
In the summer of 1786, two travelling horn virtuosos arrived at Mozart's house. The composer immediately dragged them along to the "Kegelstatt", they bowled and laughed, and as always when Mozart was in company and playing, he was inspired to write occasional works. He jotted down three short duos on a sheet of paper he had just found, which later became a whole dozen that were published in Paris.
Works by W.A. Mozart, C. Stamitz, F.X. Hammer, J. Haydn, A. Lidl
Hamburger Ratsmusik
Simone Eckert, viola da gamba, Christoph Moinian, Gregor Lentjes, natural horn
