Festival Chapelle Sauvage (The Wilde Chapel Festival)
From 09 May to 11 May France / Lyon
A festival on the theme of nature, dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi on the 300th anniversary of The Four Seasons, the naturalist hymn and universal masterpiece that opened the 1725 cycle of violin concertos Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'invenzione.
Two imaginative rewritings of the famous score will mark the event: one by Danish composer Karl-Aage Rasmussen, performed by Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu, and Max Richter's famous chamber rework.
Over the three days, we'll also transform the Chapelle de la Trinité into a wild aviary with l'Engoulevent, a sound installation by Clément Vercelletto, an ornithomix session with Dizonord and even an aerial circus performance!
