FEMART - Festival MusicAntica e Arte 2024

The 2024 edition of the MusicAntica – Baroque Stories Festival opens with two new features: a name change and a new logo. From this year, the festival will be FEMART, an acronym for Festival MusicAntica e Arte, a necessary change to underline how, over the course of a seventeen-year journey, interdisciplinarity between different artistic expressions has become its prevalent characteristic. Different musical repertoires, theater, literature, cinema and culinary art as an expression of centuries-old Italian creativity, intertwine with each other, reflecting in a fascinating kaleidoscope that offers unexpected scenarios. And it is precisely the kaleidoscope that inspired the new logo of the festival, designed by Yasmina Rosasivilin, a student of the 4th E of the “Galvani” art high school and winner of the ideas competition announced in collaboration with the school to find this new visual identity. Looking at the festival with the sensitivity of the boys and girls of the art high school, has allowed us to broaden our horizons and outline a concert program that embraces ancient music up to the contemporaneity of British pop, with the aim of satisfying the desire for novelty of the public who loves to be amazed by the alchemy of the connection between what is consolidated and what is unusual.

As in previous editions, this year too the festival will take place across the territory: Farra di Soligo, Muggia, Spilimbergo and Valvasone join Polcenigo, Pordenone, Sacile, San Martino al Tagliamento as villages of great charm and historical interest, chosen to host the concerts and events of the Note&Sapori - Il Barocco nel piatto festival which, as usual, will allow you to taste ancient recipes, reworked by the master chefs belonging to the Associazione Cuochi Udine (ACU).
