Brighton Early Music Festival returns at full strength for 2023 with 21 events in a variety of venues across Brighton. Highlights include Secret Byrd with The Gesualdo Six and Fretwork, and Medieval Enigmas with La Fonte Musica, along with music celebrating female composers and voices from Fieri Consort and Musica Secreta, choral and orchestral music by Bach and Buxtehude, and a showcase of programmes from emerging early music ensembles. Concerts are grouped around weekends to make it it easier for national and international visitors.
