Les Fous Divertissants
A myriad of musical colours with two virtuoso flutists and their dozen flutes of all sizes, from 13 cm to more than 2m high – not to mention the surprise instruments... A tasty program inspired by Nature: grasshopper, gnat, cuckoo... and even a bouquet of tulips and amaranth !
These "4 Saisons françaises" give pride of place to François Couperin, Marin Marais and Jean-Philippe Rameau through a set of transcriptions of works for harpsichord and viola da gamba. French baroque music likes to tell stories and embody characters, be they animals or flowers, as for this "Entertaining" program!
