Blue: the colour of the starry sky, of the muse Urania... In Madame de Rambouillet's Blue Room, the "Precious" dialogue in an elegant setting, with all the refinement of the seventeenth century. This recital recreates the atmosphere with court arias by Lambert, Visée, Charpentier and Le Camus.
For this intimate program, lutenist Sofie Vanden Eynde is joined by soprano Deborah Cachet who has an impressive career in baroque music with Le Poème Harmonique, L'Achéron, Correspondances, Les Talens Lyriques.... Together, they recreate the colors of these graceful "Precious", in tones that, like words, dress the truth in veils of light blue satin...
