Arnalta Cafè

Arnalta Café is a 'stand-up comedy' featuring nurses from different 17th century operas, all intent on having their say. Lullabies, lullabies, arias of toilet, arias of complaint, irreverent mockery. Some of the best-loved Baroque composers of all time, such as Monteverdi and Cavalli, are juxtaposed with lesser-known authors with operatic scenes in their first modern performance, which come to light again after more than three hundred years.
