'Arias for Rauzzini'

Ian Page’s pioneering MOZART 250 series continues at Wigmore Hall with this dynamic and vibrant programme of works dating from 1773. Award-winning young Swedish mezzo-soprano Rebecka Wallroth sings Mozart’s celebrated “Exsultate, jubilate” and arias from Lucio Silla, as well as the UK première of an aria from Paisiello’s Sismano nel Mogol, and the programme also contains two of Mozart’s most effervescent middle-period symphonies, Nos. 23 & 25. There will be a free pre-performance talk by Ian Page at 6.15pm, which is ticketed separately.
