28th year of Concentus Moraviae
From 30 May 2023 to 27 June 2023/ Czechia
As part of the 28th Concentus Moraviae Festival, 36 concerts will take place in 21 towns in South Moravia. This year's programme "Between Kroměříž and Vienna", has been put together by a trio of respected early music experts: harpsichordist and organist Prof. Barbara Maria Willi, historian and choirmaster Vladimír Maňas and Prof. Otto Biba, the long-time director of Vienna's Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde archive and an unquestionable musicological authority. Ensemble in residence is Concentus Musicus Wien with conductor Tomas Netopil; other stars include Benjamin Alard, Cappella Mariana, Pierre Pitzl, Ensemble Leones, Ensemble Castelkorn, Solamente Naturali, Dionysos Now! or soprano Kateřina Kněžíková.
