The Hermans Academy was founded in 2000 at the initiative of its director, Fabio Ciofini. Since then, it has embarked on a journey that has led the Academy to gain increasing acclaim in the Italian and international concert scene, collaborating with renowned singers and instrumentalists such as Enrico Gatti, Marcello Gatti, Gloria Banditelli, Sergio Foresti, Mario Cecchetti, Mirko Guadagnini, Roberta Invernizzi, Bart Van Oort, Roberta Mameli, and others. The Hermans Academy has recorded over fifteen CDs for record labels such as Bongiovanni Tactus, Brilliant Classics, and Glossa Music, receiving unanimous praise from the international specialized critics. It conducts intensive promotion of early music in the Umbrian region, organizing courses, recording CDs in historical locations (palaces and churches), and overseeing the artistic direction of the "Parco in... Musica" Early Music Festival in the Valnerina region of Umbria. The Academy has performed concerts for prestigious early music associations and festivals in Italy and abroad (Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Finland, Spain, Canada, United States, Mexico, Japan, England, Serbia), and maintains a constant collaboration with the Villa Solomei Festival, serving as the resident orchestra at the CUCINELLI Theater in Solomeo di Corciano (PG).
