In March the National Centre for Early Music in York was delighted to host two prestigious eeemerging ensembles from Spain. Cantoria spent a busy residency in York working with Robert Hollingworth and The 24, presenting their work to promoters and making a film! The week culminated in a sublime performance to celebrate Early Music Day. Later Spanish Baroque ensemble L'Apothéose winners of the 2019 York Early Music International Young Artists Competition finally claimed part of their prize, a recording with Linn records. The ensemble spent almost a week in our base of St Margaret’s Church,  rehearsing and recording the CD which will be available in 2023.
