The France-Portugal cross-over season

Announced in July 2018 by the President of the French Republic and the Prime Minister of Portugal, the France-Portugal Season, which will take place simultaneously in both countries from February 2022 to October 2022, will contribute to the consolidation of the strategic partnership between France and Portugal. Thanks to a common multidisciplinary program, which will irrigate the territories of both countries, in the fields of culture, education, economy, sport, and tourism, the season will be a driving force in bringing together the societies of the two countries, especially the youth.

Early music is widely represented thanks to a series of actions undertaken by partners from both countries in the direction of the discovery of a little-known musical repertoire of rare beauty, in a spirit of reciprocity and international cooperation.
The actions, all labeled, take place on several essential and complementary levels for a global vision in order to promote interactions between the two cultures, that of Research (Conferences and Master class), that of Performance (concerts).
In collaboration with Divino Sospiro - Parques de Sintra-Monte da Lua, Cité Musicale de Metz, Philharmonie de Paris, Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, Philharmonie de Luxembourg, Concert de l'Hostel Dieu, Concert de la Loge, Centro de Estudos Musicais Setecentistas de Portugal, Festival Saint-Michel en Thiérache, Concerts d'Automne à Tours...
