The 11th edition of Francesco Provenzale Baroque singing contest will take place in Centro di Musica Antica Pietà de’ Turchini (Naples)

Preliminary trials include :

• A song by Claudio Monteverdi or Cavalli or Purcell

• A passage taken from a Mass, Passion or sacred Cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach.

• A recitative and an aria from an Italian cantata by Georg Friedrich Haendel or Vivaldi or coeval author.

• A vocal excerpt from the repertoire of the Neapolitan opera school (XVII-XVIII century: Vinci, Porpora, Pergolesi, Caldara, Scarlatti etc)

Registration is open to all voices, till 31 July !
