Utrecht Early Music Festival – Burgundy
24 August – 2 September 2018
The biggest early music festival in the world welcomes you! Only a few more weeks left until the Utrecht Early Music Festival starts. From 24 August until 2 September, the beautiful city centre of Utrecht will be entirely immersed in early music. This 37th Festival edition is dedicated to Burgundy: a spectacular programme focused on music from the often neglected 14th and 15th centuries. No famous names of the 16th century, but relatively unknown and underappreciated 15th-century composers such as Grenon, Tapissier and Vide. Curator in residence is Björn Schmelzer with his ensemble Graindelavoix. More information and tickets are available through the Early Music Festival website.
