Tartini 2020 edizione 2022 “Esplorazioni Tartiniane -Tartini walks”

Padova – Chiesa di Santa Caterina, Italy 

Amici della Musica di Padova and the guides of Associazione Tartini 2020 are organizing a series of free events devoted to the music of the composer Giuseppe Tartini (1692 –1770). Each event includes a 2-hour guided tour of the city's musical landmarks, linked to Tartini’s life in Padua, with explanations and q-code listenings of music, and then a violin concert at Santa Caterina Church with readings from Tartini’s letters and memories. The church houses the tombs of Tartini and his wife.These events, named “Esplorazioni Tartiniane” (Tartini walks), will take place on Saturday afternoon. A final violin and cello concert will take place on 1 October.
