Harmonia Sacra and its Embar(o)quement Immédiat Festival focus on the great writer Molière for its 400th anniversary (1622-2022). In addition to hosting the “Malade imaginaire” historically informed version, three days of musicological meetings will be devoted to the interludes of comedies-ballets (May 4-6th) in partnership with IReMUS and Molière Sorbonne Theater. In resonance, a concert “Lully’s musics for Molière” with students from CNSMD Lyon, a “literary café” by Georges Forestier and the new creation “Les Amours de Sganarelle” in the Opérabus. On June 3th, a very special day around performing arts at Molière’s time will bring the festivities to a climax with the complicity of Le Phénix, Scène Nationale Valenciennes.
