In their debut at the Brucknerhaus Linz, Lionel Meunier and his vocal ensemble Vox Luminis, which specialises in the music of the 17th and 18th centuries and is celebrated throughout Europe, trace the unjustly little-known family and musical sources of Johann Sebastian Bach and bring to life the rich and stylistically complex tradition of this unique family dynasty, from his great-uncle Johann Bach to his second uncles Johann Christoph Bach and Johann Michael Bach to his distant cousin Johann Ludwig Bach.
