TENGO GENIO - SEASON 2024/2025

With the Neapolitan expression Tengo Genio, the Pietà de' Turchini Foundation is preparing to inaugurate the 2024/2025 musical season in which talent, passion and originality are the absolute protagonists. The season is not only a tribute to the great geniuses in the history of music, but an invitation to the public to discover the creative energy that spans the centuries and still ignites the contemporary artistic scene.
The inaugural concert, scheduled for 9 November in the Church of Santa Caterina da Siena, will feature Silvia Frigato and the Mare Nostrum Ensemble under the direction of Andrea De Carlo, with a programme dedicated to the Marcantonio Orrigoni Songbook. A tribute to another great ‘genius’ of the 17th century, Alessandro Stradella, who challenged the boundaries of the musical writing of his time.
