The Sistine Chapel, also known as the Vatican Palatine Chapel, is a treasure of inestimable spiritual and artistic value. Its walls have for centuries resounded music composed for the rites performed in it by great composers of the Renaissance, such as Guillaume Dufay, Josquin Desprez, Marbriano de Orto, Bertrand de Vaqueras and Gaspar van Weerbecke. Taking advantage of the wide and sonorous Guardhouse, the concert tries to recreate that powerful and reverberating sound, performing the same magnificent music that resounded in those places over five hundred years ago.
