FloReMus Festival

The sixth edition of the international festival «FloReMus - Florence Renaissance Music Festival» takes place in Florence (Italy) from Tuesday 30th August to Sunday 11th September. The program will, as always, be divided into evening concerts with internationally renowned groups, Concerts à boire with emerging groups, Conversations with established scholars and musicians and a workshop dedicated to the Renaissance. Evening concerts: Cappella Pratensis (Holland) directed by Stratton Bull presents "Maria zart - A monument of Renaissance sacred music" (Sept 6th); La fonte musica, directed by Michele Pasotti, presents "Enigma Fortuna - The Music of Zacara da Teramo" (Sept 8th); L'Homme Armé directed by Fabio Lombardo presents "Salva Nos … Liturgia immaginaria di fine secolo tra Firenze e Milano" (Sept 11th). Afternoon concerts with:Dulcedo Ardens,Tuscae Voces, Baroque Lumina, Harmonia Cordis
