Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festival 2023

The festival announces a fabulous line-up of concerts, walks, talks and workshops for this weekend of music, taking place in some of the most beautiful venues in one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque towns.  This year’s theme is Sacred and Profane, celebrating music from the medieval to the baroque. Highlights include: The Tallis Scholars celebrating their 50th anniversary with Reflecting Byrd, marking 400 years since the composer’s death, staged in the glorious surroundings of Beverley Minster; the Olivier Award-winning Irish Baroque Ensemble appearing in Beverley for the first time; and Creative Europe EEEMERGING+ Spanish- based instrumental ensemble The Ministers of Pastime who are also making their Beverley debut.
